The National Drowning Report 2008 was released by the Minister for Sport, Hon Kate Ellis MP, on Wednesday November 12 with Keep Watch Ambassador Sam Riley launching the Home Pool Safety initiative for 2008/2009.

NEW Shallow Water Diving Guidelines for NSW DET Schools

From 2008 all NSW Department of Education and Training (DET) Schools are required to implement "Shallow Water Diving Guidelines" prior to undertaking swimming carnival events. A range of resources are now available for NSW DET Schools and NSW Aquatic Facilities.
